and I want to say a big hello to all our new friends at Central Baptist
Church. We have been over
whelmed at the love this church has expressed towards us.
We thank all of you for the warm heartfelt welcome.
We look forward to the many years as we labor together for our Lord
and Savior! We are looking
forward to what God is doing at Central and we certainly want to be
involved with Him!
My first priority is to establish a working youth leadership team and youth council before we launch to reach this community for Jesus Christ. Many of you have signed up and have begun the training and equipping opportunity and are moving towards this first goal. Will the rest of you join us in prayer as much work is before us? If God is leading you to join us please let me know and we will include you in this exciting new ministry!
“X-treme Connection” where we use whatever means necessary to connect with the students of Crestview to connect them to our Lord and Savior! We will launch this life changing ministry on October 31st with a Halloween alternative. This event will start at 6:00 P.M. and go until 8:30 P.M in our parking lot. I have invited John Griffith to lead worship and he has invited a community youth band to provide a concert. I’m searching for a special speaker for the event to launch us off. We will have plenty of candy for the guests and hot dogs and hamburgers for all who come! All of you will be needed to assist with this church wide event if we want to make an impact on this community! X Treme connection will then meet every Wednesday night at 6:00-8:30 PM where we will reach students through worship, fellowship, games, prayer, drama and teaching of God’s word!
To meet the vision and purpose of Central Baptist Church we have a small group that meets on Sunday Morning at 9:15 a.m. called LOGOS Clubs. This meeting consists of grades 6-12 boys and girls are welcome. As we grow together we plan to establish middle school clubs as well as high school clubs. This meeting time is for our Core and committed students who will be equipped to join us on Wednesday nights for our outreach community meeting where we attract young people to connect them with other students who will connect them to Jesus Christ.
