WHAT IS A SCRAPBOOK MINISTRY?
Scrapbooking has become one of the newest and fastest growing crazes around the country. People gather together and work on their scrapbooks in a group setting. Our goal is to bring church members and members of the community that share the same interest of scrapbooking together for fellowship.
WHY SHOULD I SCRAPBOOK?
You are providing for your family and friends a photo legacy. You are passing down family traditions, stories, and a spiritual journey of your life and the lives of your ancestors. Our theme verse for this ministry is Psalm 56:8 "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. " NLT Reading the above scripture it hit me that God sees the scrapbook of our lives. He lives each moment with us. He knows each and everything we go through. It is so amazing that He knows what we fill up our pages with and He is with us every step of the way.
WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER SCRAPBOOKED, CAN I STILL COME?
YES, what better way to learn than to watch others at work and to ask questions.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
Scrapbook, devotional, scrapbook, demonstrations of new techniques, scrapbook, prizes, scrapbook, fellowship, scrapbook, snack, scrapbook – get the picture?
WHEN AND WHERE DO WE MEET?
We meet from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (With a devotion at 11:00) on the 1st Saturday of each month in the Media Center in the main Building. Do not feel obligated to stay the entire time, if your schedule does not permit. Changes in date or location will be emailed to registered scrappers and will be announced/posted at the church as soon as possible.
